Val d'Isère has three new loyalty medallists among its members.
Grand Gold Medal for more than 50 years of presence for Pierre Sorbets, presented by his godmothers, Laure Yann and Violaine Schneider.
The Grand Gold medal also goes to André Gauer who has been coming to ski in Val d'Isère since the 70s, after having learned the rudiments of skiing in Courchevel. Some friends suggested that he should stop skiing on the "tourist slopes" and come here, and he was not disappointed when he discovered the moguls of the Plan", remembers the medal winner with humour. He also showed the resort to his partner Marie Dominique, who received a silver medal. The couple's godmother was Margaux Mattis.
The ceremony took place at the Christiania Hotel and was chaired by Frédéric Monneret.
